Teamwork Projects, the project management arm of the Teamwork suite, is a pretty robust project management and collaboration tool.
Here are some of the ways we use Teamwork Projects inside of Task Molly:
1. Project Management
We manage client-facing and internal projects inside of Teamwork Projects. This includes creating tasks, sub-tasks, estimating time per tasks, assigning task owners, assigning project owners and much more.

" email that allows messages to be sent to and from their specific project. We love this feature because it keeps all communication within a central hub. This is particularly helpful when multiple people are working on a project.
3. Time Tracking
We track the time that we spend on each task and project. Along with this we heavily use the time reports available under the reports tab. We use these reports to process payroll internally.
4. File Storage
We use the native file storage and sharing features built into Teamwork. This is great because again, it keeps everything in one central location. The downside to this feature is that it does require the viewer to log into Teamwork in order to see the document. In some cases, our clients do not want to log into another system so in these instances we share documents via Google Drive.
5. General Notes
We utilize notebooks to keep track of general client or project related notes ranging from hex color codes for design projects to notes on client preferences.
Why We Love Teamwork Projects
Although Teamwork Projects has pretty cool features, it is not the main reason we have been with them for years. The most important thing to us and what we look for in software is a responsive customer support team. Teamwork has also done a good job of delivering a robust knowledge base on their website. When we are unable to find answers to specific questions or we have an issue, error or glitch, they are quick to respond and resolve the issues. They also go out of their way to get feedback on ways to improve their products.
Features That We Don't Leverage
Teamwork Projects is very robust and has quite a few features that are pretty awesome but that are not needed for our business model. Some of those features include risk, milestones, and billing.
Managing a Team
If you're managing staff or managing a team of people, you will love the dashboards, reports, calendar, and workload management features. The workload management feature is fairly new and we are just beginning to truly leverage to manage our team's workload but we are excited about the potential. It's definitely a great addition to the feature list.
We think costs are comparable to other subscription-based project management applications. There are however some other lower costs applications that we do keep a close eye on with ClickUp being one of the main ones. It has very similar features but does not have as robust reporting or team management features.
We've tested tons of project management and team collaboration tools and we must say, Teamwork Projects has yet to be beat. If you haven't tried it out, take it for a test run and let us know what you think.
